About the job

The role

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic Project Delivery team within the Operations department. In this role, you will play a key part in deploying and integrating our advanced SCADA Monitoring and Control System for renewable energy plants. Our platform supports renewable energy owners, operators, technicians, and consultants in managing large volumes of operational data across PV, Wind, and BESS installations.

Your key responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers during SCADA system integration projects.
  • Participate in technical project specification reviews, collaborating with Senior Analysts and Product Engineering Coordinators.
  • Identify and help manage technical risks associated with each project.
  • Develop and configure data models to represent various components of renewable energy plants.
  • Integrate data models and solutions into the SCADA system to meet project specifications and client expectations.
  • Perform system testing and validation activities to ensure reliable SCADA performance and compliance with project requirements.

Your skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering or systems integration roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems, including Photovoltaic (PV), Wind, and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Preferred

  • Official Ignition certification
  • Previous experience implementing SCADA solutions.
  • Understanding of network architectures and communication systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, IEC 104, OPC UA, etc.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar tools.
