Isotrol strengthens presence in Chile with SCADA integration for large-scale BESS

Supporting the commissioning of one of the country’s largest battery storage facilities as part of our commitment to smart, scalable energy solutions
Isotrol recently supported the commissioning of a new SCADA system at a 220 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) facility located in Chile’s Atacama Desert. The project, led by Atlas Renewable Energy, marks a significant step in the region’s clean energy development.
This fully dedicated BESS plant complements the nearby Sol del Desierto solar PV facility, which already operates using Isotrol’s advanced control solutions, including our Bluence SCADA and Power Plant Controller (PPC).
The new integration enables seamless coordination between the storage and solar assets, showcasing the adaptability and reliability of Isotrol’s technology in hybrid environments.
On-site validation and testing activities carried out by our team are also driving the ongoing evolution of our SCADA capabilities for energy storage—underscoring our long-term commitment to innovation and the energy transition.
