Technological development to optimize strategies for the renewable energy participation in electricity markets

The main objective of the STM project is to develop and demonstrate the technical feasibility of a management system that simplifies and, at the same time, increases the management capacity of control systems for renewable energy plants. The project is aimed to reduce operating costs, to get advanced reports and to identify non-optimal operations as well as to predict failures.

STM Project aims to make a qualitative leap in the development of control systems for renewable energy plants, mainly wind and photovoltaic.

Participants: ISOTROL, S.A.

Execution Period: 2017-2019

Location: Andalucía

Collaborators: The project had the collaboration of AICIA, through the Research Group of Power Electric Systems of the University of Seville (TEP 196).

Funding: This project is supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, funded by the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) through the Pluriregional Operative Program of Smart Growth. In addition, the project has been encouraged by the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) through its 3rd Call for funding of business R&D+i projects in cooperation with public research groups (2017).
