FORECASTING TECHNOLOGY FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF RENEWABLE ASSETS
The project aims to provide renewable managers with TIC solutions for early detection of deviations in the plant management, favoring the reduction of the O&M costs, the production improvement, the optimization of the marketing prices and the increased profits. In summary, the objective of the project is to contribute to improving the operational efficiency of the renewable portfolio with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) ICT solution that enables early detection of abnormal behavior throught the data analysis of the SCADA signals.
Remote asset management is centralized, providing tools and technologies to obtain information on the global portfolio and increase revenues in renewable generation management.
Three main tasks were carried out during the project:
- The definition of the business model to confirm the “what” and the technical constraints.
- Alternative evaluations, to detect the “how” can be provided useful inputs to optimize operation and maintenance, including Machine Learning and innovative BigData techniques.
- Definition of the market and association business plan.
The result of this project is a SaaS solution for operational excellence. REWAN provides renewable asset managers with ICT solutions to detect deviations in plant management in advance, favoring the reduction of O&M costs, increasing energy production, optimizing marketing prices and increasing profits.
